Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Releases Statement On Movement Control Order

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia take Covid-19 precautionary measures.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has released a statement that it will take precautionary measures to minimise the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. Given the official implementation of the Movement Control Order under the Prevention and Control of Diseases Act 1998 and the Police Act 1967, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia will take the following measures from 18th to 31st March 2020.

  • All Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers nationwide will be closed during this period.
  • Service24h Roadside Assistance remains operational for emergency breakdown and technical issues.
  • Mercedes-Benz local production facility in Pekan, Pahang will remain closed.
  • All routine service and maintenance and/or repairs will not be carried out at dealerships. Customers with bookings will be contacted to reschedule.

The company says that it places the health, welfare, and safety of its employees and customers a top priority. And will closely monitor the situation as well as working with relevant authorities to help the industry manoeuvre these challenging times.

Mercedes-Benz would like to inform customers who are facing any emergencies or urgent query relating to their vehicles during this period to contact 1-800-88-1133. The company’s off-site personnel will be able to assist customers remotely.
