2021 Mazda CX-9 with new Ignite Edition has more features included as standard
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 is now available in the Ignite Edition which comes with gloss black door outer mirrors, a new design gloss black front grille and 20-inch black metallic aluminium alloy wheels as standard. Inside, there are Burgundy coloured leather seats and black interior trim on the dash, door panels and handle bezels.
Several premium features are now equipped as standard: wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, wireless charging and Paddle Shifters. LED headlights with auto-leveling, LED daytime running lights and taillights, and rain-sensing windshield wipers are also standard along with G-Vectoring Control Plus.
Mazda i-Activsense safety features included are

- Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist,
- Driver Attention Alert,
- Smart City Brake Support
New features are Smart Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control.
Other standard features are leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, three-zone automatic climate control, ten-way power driver’s seat with memory positioning, interior LED accents, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio pairing, keyless entry and push-button start.
The Mazda CX-9 has a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. IT is available in either Two-Wheel Drive (2WD) or Mazda’s i-Activ All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants. Power output is the same in both versions: 228bhp and 420 Nm of torque, with six-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission.
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 “Ignite Edition” is currently CBU from Japan. The colour line-up includes Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Sonic Silver, Deep Crystal Blue and Jet Black; making a total of 6 colours available.
Selling price for the vehicle starts from RM 319,847.40, which is inclusive of the 50% Sales Tax Reduction (SST) on CBU models and is valid from now to 31st December 2021.
The 2021 Mazda CX-9 comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
