KUALA LUMPUR – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today announced updated IQ.DRIVE features in the #SUVW Tiguan Allspace family, which comes in three different variants – the R-Line 4MOTION, the Elegance, and the Life.
The revitalised Tiguan family now include various new IQ.DRIVE features such as Front Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Side Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Assist to guarantee drivers a more comfortable and safer journey. Wireless charging is also now standard for all variants.
The interior for all three variants is no less impressive, with the best connectivity features such as a Digital Cockpit and 9.2″ Discover Pro infotainment system with wireless App-Connect.
Other standard features in the Tiguan family includes a 3-zone ‘Air Care Climatronic’ air-conditioning system, electric tailgate, multi-view rear-view camera, USB-C interface and charging sockets, wireless app-connect (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto) and voice control.
All three variants come in five striking exterior colours – Platinum Grey, Pyrite Silver, Oryx White, Atlantic Blue, and Deep Black – and offer plenty of features to keep the entire family safe and entertained.
The Tiguan Allspace flagship, the R-Line is a performance SUV, and its aggressive stance, coupled with 19” Sebring alloy wheels, commands attention on- and off- the road. It offers the highest power and torque in its class, thanks to its 2.0TSI turbocharged engine generating an impressive output of 220PS and torque of 350NM paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission, resulting in a much smoother and punchier performance.
The flagship #SUVW is also fitted with an exclusive Harman Kardon 480W digital sound system which features a sophisticated, elegant design, 16-channel digital amplifier and surround sound, delivering seriously impressive acoustics via its 10 high performance speakers.
The Tiguan Allspace Elegance and Allspace Life on the other hand is equipped with a 1.4TSI turbocharged engine, capable of churning a total power output of 150PS and 250NM torque paired with a 6-speed DSG. The combinations guarantees a pleasurable driving experience whilst providing an efficient fuel consumption of approximately 7.7L/100km.
All three variants will now be offered with Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP), which provides owners with an additional 3 years extended unlimited mileage warranty and 3 years maintenance.
Depending on the selected model, VAP is valued from RM8,000 to RM10,000. Customers that do not opt for the assurance package will receive 2 years unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years roadside maintenance.
The recommended retail price (RRP) of the new Tiguan Allspace family without VAP is from RM165,990 to RM245,990.
