SHAH ALAM, 5 JANUARY 2024 – UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd (UMWT) proudly concludes 2023 with robust growth, reporting a positive trend in December 2023. The company achieved a monthly total sales milestone of 10,402 units (Toyota + Lexus), comprising 10,079 units for Toyota and 323 units for Lexus. Notably, the year-to-date sales as of December 2023 reached 108,107 units, marking a remarkable 7% year-on-year increase compared to 2022’s cumulative sales of 101,035 units.

Customer Commitment and Aftersales Excellence:
UMWT remains dedicated to customer satisfaction, with 1,342,130 returning customers for aftersales services in 2023. This commitment underscores the company’s efficiency in providing top-notch automotive care and fostering long-term relationships with its customers.

Promotions and Consumer Access:
In December, Toyota expanded consumer access to car ownership with the “Drive into the New Year with Toyota” promotion, offering up to a 100% loan for selected models. The promotion included attractive savings, such as up to RM15,000 for a Camry and promotional monthly installment rates starting from RM18 through the Toyota Service Savers programme.
