The New Model Y will be showcased for the first time in Malaysia at two exclusive locations:
- Pavilion Damansara Heights: From now until 2 March 2025
- Mid Valley Southkey: From 19 February 2025 to 23 February 2025

Exclusive Launch Series Design
The New Model Y Launch Series introduces a range of unique design elements, including:
- A customized launch badge at the rear
- Puddle light badge and doorsill plates featuring the ‘Launch Series’ wordmark
- A special center charging console with silver accents
- An all-black vegan suede interior trim
Inspired by Tesla’s futuristic Cybertruck and Cybercab, the New Model Y boasts a bespoke cyber design, featuring a new cross-car lightbar at the front and an industry-first indirect reflective body panel taillight. These design elements not only enhance the vehicle’s aesthetics but also contribute to its aerodynamic efficiency.
Enhanced Comfort and Performance
The New Model Y is designed to deliver an exceptional driving experience with:
- A noticeably quieter cabin thanks to double-layer glass for all windows
- A panoramic glass roof that reduces UV rays and heat by 7 times compared to previous models
- Newly designed wheels and a rear diffuser to optimize air resistance and enhance stability at high speeds

The New Model Y retains the signature features of the Model 3, including:

- A second-row 8” touchscreen display for passengers

Power and Range
The New Model Y is available in two variants:
- Rear-Wheel Drive: Starting at RM 195,450 with a range of 466 km (WLTP)
- Long Range All-Wheel Drive: Starting at RM 242,450 with a range of 551 km (WLTP)
Both variants offer impressive acceleration, with the Long Range variant achieving 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
Charging Made Easy
Tesla’s robust charging network in Malaysia ensures seamless charging for the New Model Y. With the recent launch of the V4 Supercharging Station at The Gardens Mall, Tesla now operates 14 Supercharging Stations with 64 Superchargers and 15 Destination Charging Stations with 70 Destination Chargers across the country. Drivers can gain up to 266 km of range in just 15 minutes, making long-distance travel effortless.
