Next-generation Ford Everest available in three variants with top-spec Titanium at RM308,888
The next-generation Ford Everest has debuted in Malaysia. There are three variants of the seven-seater SUV, starting with the entry-level two-wheel drive Sport. The other two variants are four-wheel drive, the mid-spec Trend and the top-of-the-range Titanium.
The Everest has a distinctive head-on appearance from C-clamp LED daytime running lights integrated into the front grille with a full-width horizontal bar running between the lights. There are full-width LED tail lamps at the rear as well as LED front and rear fog lamps.
The Trend and Sport have LED headlamps while the Titanium gets Matrix LED headlights with glare-free high beam. The Matrix headlights offer dynamic and static bending as well as speed-dependent lighting which adjusts the length of the beam according to the speed of travel.
In the new generation, the wheelbase and track and both been increased by 50mm. Wading depth is 800mm with 200mm ground clearance.
All three variants have 2.0-litre single or bi-turbo diesel engines with different outputs.
The Sport has a single turbo 2.0-litre engine with six speed automatic gearbox with four selectable drive modes. Output is 168bhp and 405Nm of torque. The wheels are on 20-inch alloys.
The Trend and Titanium are powered by a 2.0-litre bi-turbo with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and six selectable drive modes, producing 207bhp and 500Nm of torque. The Trend has 18-inch alloys while the Titanium has 20-inch alloys.
Standard features include keyless entry with push start ignition, digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment displays with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto with voice recognition; hands-free powered tailgate, puddle lights in the wing mirrors, eight-way power adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, and rear air-conditioning blowers and vents. The top-spec Titanium also gets dual panel sunroof.

The Ford Everest starts from RM263,888 for the Sport, RM281,888 for the Trend and finally, the Titanium at RM308,888. The SUV comes with three-years manufacturer’s warranty or up to 100,000km which ever comes first. Inclusive of a two-year extended warranty or 60,000km whichever comes first.
