Both Mercedes A-Class Sedan and GLA SUV available in Progressive Line and AMG Line trim levels
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has launched two new locally-assembled cars, the A-Class Sedan and GLA SUV. Both models are offered in two trim levels, Progressive Line and AMG Line.
The Mercedes A 200 Progressive Line and the GLA 200 Progressive Line have the same 1.3-litre engine with 163bhp at 5500rpm that produces 250Nm at 1620-4000rpm. The A 250 AMG Line and GLA 250 AMG Line also share engines with identical outputs – 2.0-litre, 224bhp at 5,500rpm, 350Nm at 1800-4000rpm.
The A-Class Sedan has an above-average spacious interior with 944mm rear headroom which Mercedes claims is the most generous of its segment. The boot is 420 litres with a wide aperture for easy loading and unloading.
The exterior colours for the saloon are Polar White, Cosmos Black, Mountain Grey, Iridium Silver and Denim Blue featuring a carbon fibre-look trim for the A 200 Progressive Line and a light linear-grain aluminium trim for the A 250 AMG Line.

The GLA 200 is equipped with 18-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels while the GLA 250 comes with AMG Line bodystyling and 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.
