C9 Premium Off-Road SUV Coupe to Debut December 2024

This five-seater premium off-road SUV coupe promises to redefine the D-segment market with its robust engine, advanced safety features, and luxurious design—all at a competitive price point.

Striking Exterior & Powerful Engineering
The OMODA C9 stands out with its diamond matrix grille, sigma-inspired LED daytime running lights, and acoustic windshield for a quieter cabin experience. Keyless door entry with NFC technology and walkaway locking system are among the vehicle’s intelligent features.
Measuring 4,775mm in length, the C9 boasts a commanding presence, reinforced by a 2,800mm wheelbase and 165mm ground clearance, allowing it to navigate water depths of up to 450mm. Sporting R20 alloy wheels and Michelin high-performance tires, the C9 is built for various driving conditions, supported by all-round adaptive suspension.
Under the hood, the C9 features a 2.0 TGDI inline four-cylinder engine producing 257 HP and 400Nm of torque. Available in 2WD with three driving modes and AWD with seven, the C9 is built to conquer both urban roads and off-road terrains.
Advanced Safety & Technology
Safety is at the forefront with the C9’s Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system, which adapts to road conditions in real time. Equipped with a Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), it includes features like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Emergency Lane Keep Assist. Its body is built with 85% high-strength steel and includes eight airbags.
Luxurious Interior & Smart Features
Inside, the C9 offers an immersive experience with 24.6-inch HD displays, ambient lighting, and 50W wireless mobile charging. The cabin is wrapped in premium leather, while the three-zone air conditioning system enhances comfort with built-in fragrance and air quality systems. The driver’s seat offers eight electric adjustable positions with memory settings, alongside a Driver Monitoring System and heads-up display for intuitive control.
The AWD variant comes equipped with 14 surround sound speakers, ensuring a driver-centric audio experience.
Market-Ready at Competitive Prices
Priced competitively under RM200,000, the C9 is available for registration with an estimated price of MYR185,000 for the 2WD variant and MYR195,000 for the AWD. Ahead of the December launch, the public will get a chance to experience the C9 at roadshows starting in late October.
