Meet the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT

Shelby American has announced the release of its first-ever production electric vehicle (EV) exclusively for Europe – the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT. This release coincides with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the company’s founder, Carroll Shelby. To celebrate this milestone, the company will offer a post-title package that modifies the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT with enhancements to its handling and styling.

The Shelby package includes various modifications to the vehicle, such as lowering the SUV’s height by an inch, reducing its weight, enhancing its aerodynamics, and reducing rotating mass for better stability. The package also includes carbon fiber mirror caps and door trims, racing stripes, Shelby badging inside and out, and Borla’s Active Performance Sound System, which mirrors speed, power, RPM, torque, and load. Each vehicle will also come with an official Shelby CSM identification number.

Only 100 of these post-title packages will be available in Europe to retrofit privately-owned 2021-2023 model year Mustang Mach-E GT SUVs or to add to a new vehicle by a Shelby American dealer in select European countries within the 2023 calendar year. Each Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT comes with paid membership in Team Shelby, the international club established by Carroll Shelby in 2008, and will be eligible for documentation in the official Shelby Registry. As the first production version of an EV in Shelby American’s history, it offers potential collectability to its owners.

The package’s MSRP starts at €24,900 in Europe, not including the base vehicle. Those interested in the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT can visit https://www.shelby.eu for more information.
