Ferrari production line reopens

Ferrari factories at Maranello and Modena will resume full operations by Friday 8 May

Partial production has resumed at Ferrari’s two factories at Maranello and Modena. Full production will resume by Friday 8 May. The closure, since mid-March, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is the longest in the car maker’s history.

A “Back on Track” programme has been initiated which will include several new practices to safeguard the health and safety of all the employees. Voluntary serology testing restarted a few weeks ago.

Last week, before production restarted, Ferrari began carrying out training sessions for workers to explain the new precautionary and safety measures put in place.
