New BMW 530e and BMW 530i in M Sport trim from RM334,354
Two BMW 5 Series variants, the 530e and 530i, have been updated. Both are in M Sport trim and are assembled in Kulim.
The saloons have a new design front and rear bumpers with larger air intakes, larger BMW kidney grille and slimmer headlights. There is also a new design for the daytime running lights and new LED taillight elements in the signature BMW L-shape with the light source integrated directly into the taillight’s outermost layer, maximising the 3D effect.
The BMW 530e M Sport BMW has Individual high-gloss Shadow Line frames on its windows while the BMW 530i M Sport has Individual Exterior Line Aluminium Satinated.
The new 19-inch rims are M light alloy Y-Spoke 845 M Bi-Colour Jet Black wheels with both mixed and runflat tyres. The new variants also feature Adaptive Suspension and the M Sport brake with blue-painted M Sport brake callipers with M designation. Along the rear of the new variants are double-sided exhaust tailpipe finishers with a trapezoidal design and a distinctive diffuser insert.
Both variants are powered with a four-cylinder 2.0-litre petrol engine with eight-speed automatic transmission.
The BMW 530e also has an electric motor and produces a combined maximum output of 292bhp, 109bhp of which is from the motor, and 420Nm of torque. 0-100km/h takes 5.9 seconds. The all-electric range is 67 kilometres.
Full electric charging with the BMW i Wallbox takes around 3 hours and 35 minutes, while a conventional mains socket with a standard charging cable takes 6 hours.
Meanwhile, the new BMW 530i M Sport’s output is 252hp and 350Nm of torque, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.4 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h.

The BMW 530i M Sport also has Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function.
Interior features are M leather steering wheel, Dakota leather upholstery with sports seats in front and Aluminium Rhombide interior trim finishers. The 530e has BMW Individual anthracite headliner while the 530i has an electrical glass roof.
The BMW Live Cockpit Profession runs on BMW Operating System 7. The infotainment set-up has been restructured and now has a user-configurable 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an equally large touchscreen Control Display. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional comes with navigation, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, 4G LTE connectivity, two USB ports and functions such as Remote Software Upgrade as well as over-the-air map updates for the navigation system.
Both variants have Comfort Access, as well as the automatic air-conditioning with 4-zone control and electric roller sun-blinds for rear windows.
BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant provides access to phone calls, temperature adjustment, navigation, sun-blind activation and automatically lowering of all windows.
The BMW 530e M Sport gets HiFi Loudspeaker system as standard. Exclusive to the 530i M Sport are the

Exterior colours available are Alpine White or Carbon Black, paired with either the Black or Cognac Leather Dakota upholstery; or Phytonic Blue, Sophisto Grey or Bluestone paired with Black Leather Dakota upholstery.

Exclusively available for the New BMW 530i M Sport is the Shadow Line Package, which retails at RM 5,437.12 but is RM 5,000 (excluding labour) until 31 December 2021. The package will equip the vehicle with kidney grille, air duct trim and window frames in High Gloss Black.
