Kuala Lumpur, May 23, 2023 – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) recently held its annual 2022 Dealer of the Year Awards at The Westin Desaru Coast Resort, Johor, to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of its top-performing dealer partners. The event brought together representatives from all 17 dealerships within the Volkswagen network nationwide.
Under the Dealer of The Year category, four awards were presented based on the dealers’ efforts in sales and marketing, aftersales, customer satisfaction, dealer standards compliance, and manpower qualification. The judging and scoring criteria covered the period from January to December 2022. Lee Motors Autohaus (Volkswagen Alor Setar) emerged as the coveted Dealer of The Year, following their previous win of the same award in 2021.
The other distinguished recipients for Dealer of The Year awards were MHV Autohaus (Volkswagen Gombak) as the 1st Runner-up, Goh Brothers Motor (Volkswagen Juru) as the 2nd Runner-up, and PHS Autohaus (Volkswagen Puchong) in the Das WeltAuto category.
Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM, expressed his delight in presenting these awards to deserving dealerships and colleagues for their exceptional performance in sales and aftersales service. He emphasized the significance of these accolades as benchmarks and motivation for other dealer partners to strive towards delivering the best possible experience to customers.
Additionally, individual talents within the Volkswagen network were acknowledged and awarded for their outstanding performances in various roles, including Sales Manager, Sales Consultant, Aftersales Manager, Parts Manager, Service Advisor, and Technician. The winners were evaluated based on qualitative and quantitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales and aftersales targets, customer satisfaction, adherence to processes and procedures, and training and qualifications.
The six Overall Top Achievers in their respective roles were:
- Chong Sze Yan from WN Motorworld for Best Sales Manager
- Azharul Sham Hamsah from MHV Autohaus for Best Sales Consultant
- Loh Sing Hoong from MHV Autohaus for Best Aftersales Manager
- Muhammad Izzat Che Adnan from Lee Motors Autohaus for Best Parts Manager
- Soo Boon Hou from Goh Brothers Motor for Best Service Advisor
- Khairul Humaidi Shamsudin from N3 Auto for Best Technician
