Proton has announced that it will extend warranties and advice customers to service their vehicles within 30 days of the end of the MCO.
In a recent press release from Proton, the Malaysian carmaker has made it official that warranties expiring during the MCO period will be extended by 1,000 km or 30 days following the final day of the MCO, whichever comes first.
Despite having all Proton service outlets closed during this MCO period, warranties will remain valid even if the vehicle misses its recommended service period. As mentioned, all customers are advised to service their cars within 30 days of the end of the MCO period to keep their warranties active.
