Charles Frump takes over from Nalin Jain who was MD from 2018 to 2020
Charles Frump is the new Managing Director at Volvo Car Malaysia, coming in from Volvo Car India where he has been the Managing Director since 2017.
Frump has over 20 years experience in the motoring industry working in various markets across Asia, the United States of America and Europe. He has held roles in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Network Management. He first joined Volvo Cars in 2009 as the Director of Marketing in Volvo Car Japan.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Los Angeles, USA. He completed his bachelor’s in economics and mathematics from St. Olaf College, Minnesota, USA.
Frump is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing ice hockey. He likes to explore a new country every year with his wife, but still finds himself going back to Japan and Spain time and again as his all-time favourite travel destinations.
