Hyundai customers in Klang, Selangor, and its neighbouring vicinity can now look forward to more convenience with the opening of a 3S service centre in the town. The new RM8.5 million sales, service and spare parts centre demonstrates the ongoing effort of Hyundai Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) to expand its Hyundai network in Malaysia.
“The growing number of 3S centres reflects the growing sales of Hyundai/Inokom vehicles in Malaysia and I am happy that Malaysian motorists are seeing the value of owning a Hyundai vehicle,” said Kim Hoo-Keun, Head of the Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC).
This new 3S centre is also in compliance with the Hyundai Dealer Enhancement Programme (DEP). The DEP was introduced by HMC to reinforce Hyundai’s brand presence by aligning it with the carmaker’s global corporate image as well as to enhance customers’ ownership experience.
The new facility has a built-up area of measures 1,020 square metres on a land size of approximately 1,672 square metres. It has 8 service bays (with two bays allocated for Quick Service), a customer lounge that is equipped with free wifi, coffee-making facility and a showroom displaying the latest models.
Commenting on the latest member of the network, Lau Yit Mun, MD of HSDM said that the network expansion of Hyundai’s 3S centres nationwide is one of the company’s strategies to improve customer service and customer satisfaction. “Currently, Hyundai has a 4% market share in the state of Selangor and we hope with the new models that are coming in, Hyundai will be able to increase its market share,” he said.
