Recall affects 55,354 Honda cars in Malaysia
Honda Malaysia announced a precautionary product recall involving 55,354 Honda vehicles in Malaysia. This is global product recall caused by a possibly faulty fuel pump.

The product recall does not affect year 2020 production models.
Honda stresses that this is a recall is a precaution. The signs of fuel pump failure is the loss of engine power with the vehicle stalling. All affected customers will be sent notification letters with details of the product recall. All affected customers should contact any Honda authorised dealer to make an appointment to replace the fuel pump, subject to parts availability.
As of today, there are no incidences of crashes or injuries caused by this issue reported in Malaysia. The replacement of the affected fuel pump is free of charge and all cost related to this replacement activity will be borne by Honda Malaysia. The replacement stock will be available in stages.
