BMW Group Malaysia and Lee Motor Auto Care recently introduced the BMW Gallery, the premium automaker’s first mobile concept sales gallery in country. Located at the Amanjaya Mall in Sungai Petani, Kedah, the BMW Gallery is also the first BMW showroom to be incorporated in a public space.
Commenting on the landmark opening, Dr. Gerhard Pils, CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said: “With the BMW Gallery here at the Amanjaya Mall, we wanted to create a new retail experience that brings the BMW brand to life for both our existing and a wider spectrum of prospective customer. This new BMW Pop-up Store Concept showroom is able to provide our customers the opportunity to get closer to the brand and experience the world of BMW.”
Dr. Pils added that the introduction of BMW Gallery reflects BMW Group Malaysia’s commitment in the northern region of peninsular Malaysia and is part of the company’s ongoing strategy of expanding its dealership network.
This will give BMW customers more choice and convenience as well as catering to the brand’s growing customer base throughout the country.
The BMW gallery is designed with luxury modern retail architectural themes rather than following traditional automotive showrooms. The nearly 900 sq feet concept sales gallery design was conceived by the design team at Lee Motors Auto Care. It features a moving cloud design in the vortex light-box and light ambience on the floor.
