The 2023 Mazda CX-30 is the third Mazda vehicle to be locally assembled in Malaysia and is produced at the Inokom assembly plant in Kulim, Kedah. The four models available include the 2.0L 2WD Standard, 2.0L 2WD High, 2.0L 2WD High Plus, and 2.0L 2WD High Plus Premium, with on-the-road prices ranging from RM128,109 to RM156,109. All four models are powered by a 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G naturally aspirated petrol engine and feature a six-speed automatic transmission, with top speeds of 196 km/h.

2.0 Standard – RM 128,109 (-RM22k)
2.0 High – RM 136,109
2.0 High+ – RM 146,109 (-RM19k)
2.0 High+ Premium – RM 156,109 (-RM18k)
All variants feature 18-inch alloy wheels with 215/55R18 tyres, except for the base 2.0L Standard model, which has 16-inch alloys on 215/65R16 tyres. LED headlamps and LED tail lamps are standard on all but the base variant, which has bulb-type daytime running lights. The top variant is the only model with a power sunroof, while all other models come with a powered tailgate and four parking sensors each.
Inside, all models feature a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, and a seven-inch multi-info display with colour projection HUD. The top variant also comes with a frameless interior rear view mirror with self-dimming, while the intermediate High and High Plus models have a self-dimming rear view mirror. Infotainment features for all models include an 8.8-inch display accessed via the Commander Control interface, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, eight speakers, and two USB ports.
Active safety features are included in the 2.0L High Plus and 2.0L High Plus Premium models, which have blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, driver attention assist, front and rear smart brake support, and radar cruise control for stop and go. The High Plus Premium also includes front cross traffic alert and driver monitoring for the driver attention assist function, along with cruising and traffic support.

The 2023 CX-30 CKD is available in Machine Gray, Soul Red Crystal, Deep Crystal Blue, Platinum Quartz, Snowflake White Pearl, Jet Black, and Polymetal Gray. It comes with a five-year, 100,000 km manufacturer’s warranty, along with a five-year, 100,000 km free scheduled maintenance programme. Customers can place orders now, with deliveries expected to commence at the end of this month.
